mepcobill.pk ("we," "our," or "us") is an independent, third-party website that provides a free tool for checking MEPCO electricity bills online. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) or the Pakistan Information Technology Company (PITC).

2. Information We Collect

Bill Checker Tool: When you enter a 14-digit reference number to check your MEPCO bill, we transmit that number directly to the government PITC database to fetch your bill. We do not store this reference number or the returned bill data on our servers.

Email Subscription: If you subscribe for bill alerts, we collect your name, email address, reference number, preferred alert day, and optional phone number. This data is processed via FormSubmit.co (a third-party form service) and is used solely to send you your monthly bill notification email.

Analytics: We use anonymised analytics (e.g., page views, referral sources) to improve the website. No personally identifying information is collected for analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To display your MEPCO bill details to you (bill checking only)
• To send monthly bill alert emails to subscribed users
• To improve website performance and user experience
• To respond to enquiries sent via our Contact page

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Your reference number is only shared with the PITC government API to fetch your bill. Subscription data is processed by FormSubmit.co under their own privacy terms.

mepcobill.pk uses essential cookies only (e.g., for session management and analytics). We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some features may not function correctly.

6. Data Security

All connections to mepcobill.pk are encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. We take reasonable technical measures to protect any data held, though no internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.

You may request deletion of your subscription data at any time by emailing us at support@mepcobill.pk. You can unsubscribe from bill alert emails from any email we send you.
